nutpods is a deliciously wholesome, dairy-free creamer made from heart healthy almonds and MCT-rich coconuts with a rich and creamy balanced taste.

We believe that there should be an alternative option for the discerning and informed dairy-free coffee creamer user. Unfortunately, most traditional non-dairy and even natural dairy-free coffee creamers can contain many undesirable and artificial ingredients.  Natural creamers can be thin and watery; not rich and creamy. Unlike the existing options, nutpods is free from the following so you can be free to indulge:
-Sodium Caseinate (a milk protein)
-Artificial flavors, colors and preservatives
-Hydrogenated or partially hydrogenated oils

Keep Calm and ENJOY NUTPODS Poster

We did it!

We started our little company with a Kickstarter campaign in October 2013 (www.kickstarter.com Project Name: nutpods) to bring our much anticipated products to the commercial market. Our goal was to raise $30K to release our first delectable flavor, Unsweetened Original. Well, thanks to the generosity of 510 backers, WE DID IT! We were able to actually surpass our goal by $32,164!  The money raised will go towards converting Madeline's kitchen formula into a full-blown commercial formulation.  Funds will also be used on packaging, production and distribution costs.

Thanks to you, our supporters, we will soon be able to transform nutpods into a bona fide commercial production and make our wholesome and deliciously dairy-free creamy pods available to health-conscious coffee and tea lovers everywhere.

Thank you for your support in giving us the privilege to finally bring a more natural and wholesome option to the market!

Paleo + Vegan...and never the two shall meet?

nutpods been lucky enough to attract fans from all different walks of dairy-free life: Lactose Intolerant, Milk Allergies, Celiac Disease, IBS, Elimination Diets, Cleanse Diets, Omni, Virgin, Paleo and Vegan/Plant-based.  We were all in the same situation - wanting dairy-free and not having good choices on the market.

Here's what I believe:

I believe that nutpods is a great product for all those groups above. And I believe that nutpods is a great X product even if I'm not X.

That means, nutpods is a great vegan product even if I'm not vegan. Same goes for being a great paleo product even if I'm not paleo.  After all, nutpods will be kosher certified; it's not a requirement that I am Jewish and keep kosher, is it?

Even groups that are as disparate as our Paleo and Vegan friends, what unites them is an emphasis on whole foods; fresh fruits and vegetables and avoiding processed foods. We're all here around nutpods because we have similar values on our respective journeys: to avoid processed ingredients whenever possible, to provide the best nutiriton for our bodies and families, to just have a wholesome, portable coffee creamer.

Here's the thing. Part of the perk about building your company and brand is that I get to set the direction in which I want to pursue.

And I choose to build an inclusive community, where we can respect that we are all sifting though a lot of information out there making the best decisions we can for ourselves, our health and our families.  I think there should be support and respect, if not encouragement for that. Just that. No matter what dietary road you're on or end up choosing a different road than how you started out.

So if you're a paleo fan, thanks! You guys are sure crazy for your bacon. And if you're vegan or on a plant-based diet, welcome! We're a fan and practice Meatless Mondays in our family. If you're a short timer on a cleanse or elimination diet, take off your jacket and stay a while. We think you'll like how you feel once you're dairy-free.  And our lactose intolerant/milk allergy friends, we know. You're sometimes an unwilling partner on this dairy-free road.  And you'll have to take our word for it; nutpods is pretty darn close to half and half. Hang in there.

You are all welcome in my nutpods community. Thanks for coming in.
