nutpods is a deliciously wholesome, dairy-free creamer made from heart healthy almonds and MCT-rich coconuts with a rich and creamy balanced taste.

We believe that there should be an alternative option for the discerning and informed dairy-free coffee creamer user. Unfortunately, most traditional non-dairy and even natural dairy-free coffee creamers can contain many undesirable and artificial ingredients.  Natural creamers can be thin and watery; not rich and creamy. Unlike the existing options, nutpods is free from the following so you can be free to indulge:
-Soy
-Sodium Caseinate (a milk protein)
-Carrageenan
-Artificial flavors, colors and preservatives
-Hydrogenated or partially hydrogenated oils

We did it!

We started our little company with a Kickstarter campaign in October 2013 (www.kickstarter.com Project Name: nutpods) to bring our much anticipated products to the commercial market. Our goal was to raise $30K to release our first delectable flavor, Unsweetened Original. Well, thanks to the generosity of 510 backers, WE DID IT! We were able to actually surpass our goal by $32,164!  The money raised will go towards converting Madeline's kitchen formula into a full-blown commercial formulation.  Funds will also be used on packaging, production and distribution costs.

Thanks to you, our supporters, we will soon be able to transform nutpods into a bona fide commercial production and make our wholesome and deliciously dairy-free creamy pods available to health-conscious coffee and tea lovers everywhere.

For my apologetic dairy friends. Don't be.

I recently met a friend for coffee to catch up since I’ve been in nutpods land and desperately needed to resurface and nurture my friendships. When we got our coffees, I was surprised when she looked at me apologetically and murmured a “sorry” while she reached for half & half.

It surprised me because she felt a need to apologize to me for having her coffee the way she wanted it, which was with half & half, as if I would somehow take offense.  And it made me a little sad upon reflection because I created nutpods for exactly the opposite reason - so everyone could have their own cup of coffee just the way they wanted it.

I, like 95% of Asians, am lactose intolerant. It turns out, according to the NIH, 30-50million Americans are too so I’m in good company. And truth be told, I really missed having half and half in MY coffee. And since I just can’t truly enjoy a cup of black coffee, I was left with: (A) thin, watery creamers, (B) super-processed liquid creamers (hydrogenated oils anyone? How about some corn syrup solids?) or what I considered my worst option, (C) powdered non-dairy creamers (Hi, artificial XY and Z).

I created nutpods to have an alternative that is rich and creamy, made with simple ingredients, backed by quality certifications and unsweetened so that YOU get to choose your own preferred sweetener, and sweetness level. And if you don’t want any sweetener at all, you can have that too. To me, nutpods is about having a choice.

I won’t look down from my dairy-free nose and judge you if you grab your half and half. I promise. I’m going to reach for my nutpods all the same and we can both enjoy our perfect cup of coffee.

Congratulations on your new product!

found out about your NutPods from a gal on vegan.com…

I’m vegan and I don’t drink coffee, but I’m keen to buy your product NUTPODS to make my grandmother’s homeade icecream recipe (dairy-free) she used half & half. I bet Nutpods IS the missing link to that CREAMY TASTE that is missing at the moment.

I very much look forward to sampling your nutpods! I can’t handle milk but LOVE heavy cream in my coffee (less casein and less lactose) but it packs on the weight. If your nutpods are creamy and rich and neutral in flavor (I see you have a plain one)—I’ll be in seventh Heaven! I hope you can get Starbucks on board. As a former employee of Starbucks, I think you have a good chance. They like innovation. Good Luck!
