Our Story
From an idea in a California diner to a leader in plant-based creamers, the nutpods story shows the power of a great product and a passionate fan base.
March 2013
Where It All Began
On vacation, pregnant and frustrated with her non-dairy creamer options at a Lake Tahoe diner, Madeline decides she wants to develop a better alternative creamer option for herself and the world.
April 2013
To The Kitchen
Madeline spent over a year in the kitchen recipe testing and developed the flagship almond + coconut blend creamer.
October 2013
The Kickstarter Campaign
To get proof of concept Madeline took to Kickstarter and raised $32,000 to start the brand. Sidenote: she was still pregnant at the time and went into labor at the $18,000 mark!

nutpods Goes Retail: In-store
In store at last! The official launch of the nutpods brand, at Seattle's PCC Natural Markets.

The start of nutpods' direct-to-consumer business launching on Amazon, where the brand's positive reviews outpace all other creamers

We do brew! For those consumers who prefer a chilled coffee boost (and they're in the majority these days), we launched a rich, smooth Arabica-based blend paired with our creamers.
